Manufactured Vancouver, B.C. in the early 1980's, The Amphibian was powered by a 340 hp Ford 429 industrial engine.  The drove the twin vertically mounted centrifugal fans which provided the air for both lift and propulsion.  There was seating for 3-4 passengers in addition to the operator or 1000 lbs of freight.   

The hull was made from moulded fibreglass and corrosion resistant aluminum.  An aircraft type throttle was used to adjust engine rpm for lift and thrust. Simple hand controls and foot pedals effected steering and forward and reverse thrust. Andrew Robertston was the President of ACV Sales.
